Denver South is proud to announce and welcome Nathan Bishop as Director of Entrepreneurship. In this role, Nathan will oversee Project Nexus by working with innovators and entrepreneurs in Denver South and by connecting early-stage and scaling startups with access to advisors, investors, resources, and programming.
Nathan joined Denver South at the beginning of 2022 after serving as Economic Development Officer for the City of Greenwood Village. With over a decade of experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, he brings extensive knowledge of place-based solution development, ecosystem promotion, and leveraging industry partnerships. Nathan holds a BS from Murray State University and a graduate degree from the University of Colorado-Denver. He has been a Certified Planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2015 and was recognized in 2016 as a 40 under 40 business leader by the Springfield (IL) Business Journal.
“I am excited to join the Denver South team, and am looking forward to leveraging my passion for supporting and elevating the startup ecosystem in the region to make Denver South a premier location to start a business,” shares Bishop.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and children traveling and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle.
