February 2024 Partnership Meeting
As we usher in a new year, we invite you to our first Partnership Meeting of 2024, where we will explore a subject that has the potential to greatly influence Denver South’s technological landscape: Quantum Computing.
The realm of Quantum Computing may seem complex and even elusive to many. Yet, its implications are profound, harnessing the power of atomic and subatomic principles to revolutionize computer calculations in the development of sensors, optics, lasers, and more.
Colorado is on the cusp of becoming a leading Tech Hub, with initiatives like the CHIPS Refundable Tax Credit Program designed to maximize incentives for eligible industries at the forefront of Quantum Computing, like semiconductor and advanced manufacturing. This program, encompassing refundable tax credits up to $75 million through fiscal year 2028-29, underscores our state’s commitment to innovation and growth.
This meeting will offer a unique opportunity to explore this cutting-edge field and its implications for our region’s growth and innovation. Whether you’re a seasoned attendee or new to our meetings, we welcome your insights and contributions to this discourse shaping our region’s technological future.

Mike Landes, Senior Manager Business Development, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT)
