We are excited to welcome Marissa Harmon, newly-elected Mayor of Lone Tree, to the Denver South Board of Directors! As a small business owner, former Lone Tree City Council Member, and former Chair of the Planning Commission for Lone Tree, Mayor Harmon has already had a significant impact on the city and the region. We look forward to working with Mayor Harmon in continuing to elevate both the City of Lone Tree and the Denver South region.
A History of Service
During her time on City Council, Mayor Harmon had an active presence in the community. She served on multiple committees and boards, including the Colorado Municipal League, South Suburban Parks and Recreation’s District Sub-Committee, and the Douglas County Homeless Initiative Executive Board. She also successfully co-chaired the campaign for Ballot Measure 2E, which introduced funding for public safety, transportation and recreation.
Mayor Harmon is known for her engaging presence at community events and her connection with residents. Her approach to leadership is rooted in listening and creating forward-thinking solutions. She aims to enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Lone Tree. We look forward to leveraging her passion and enthusiasm to further elevate Denver South!

In their free time, the Harmons take full advantage of Colorado’s great outdoors.
