When you visit our office, the first smiling face you will see belongs to Roz. Roslyn (Roz) Vialpando-Miles is our Administrative Assistant and is a key member of our Denver South team. Roz is critical to ensuring our office continues to run smoothly and acting as the “glue” in planning and executing our many meetings and events.
As a Colorado native, Roz is no stranger to the region; the opportunity to work at Denver South was a natural transition for her. Prior to joining Denver South she worked at KWGN Channel Two News in Denver and later led the KDVR/Fox 31 Newsroom as the Business Manager for over a decade. That experience stoked her passion to make a positive impact in our community.
Assembling the Puzzle Pieces
Although Roz has a wide range of interests, putting puzzles together is one of her favorite pastimes. In her role as Administrative Assistant, she puts this hobby to great use, pulling together all the intricate pieces to ensure the office and events go off without a hitch.
From coordinating a board meeting to ensuring presentations for the Partnership Meeting are ready to go—if you have attended a Denver South event—you have benefited from Roz’s puzzling skills!
In addition to puzzling pieces of the organization together, Roz enjoys engaging community members and businesses alike in her role. She’s proud to have been a part of many of our recent successes, including the Annual Reception, last summer’s Community/RTD Celebrations, and our ongoing partnership meetings. Moreover, Roz is excited for what’s in store for 2023 and is committed to continuing this important work and positively impacting the Denver South community.
When she’s not hard at work, Roz enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, two children, and Murphy, their wire-haired Vizsla. She loves exploring the beautiful Colorado outdoors and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the state has to offer.
