Roz’s roots run deep in Denver South, which gives her unique insight into our region. We were able to grab a few minutes of her time to ask her what she likes to do – and what she finds interesting – about Denver South. We’re excited to share her answers with you!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to read and walk my crazy dog Murphy, a wire haired vizsla. I also like to travel and spend my summers in Grand Lake with my family.
What is one of the hidden gems or “little secrets” about the region?
One of my favorite “secrets” about Denver South is that you can maneuver the side roads all along I-25 to avoid traffic congestion. From Lincoln to I-225 – there are lots of ways to get around our region – I think that’s awesome!
What is one little known fact about Denver South you think people should know about?
Most people don’t know that the Highline Community Church used to house the television studios of KWGN Channel 2 located at I-25 & Orchard Rd. I worked in their newsroom for a number of years and grew to love and appreciate the history and how the region has grown and changed. This is one of my favorite examples.
