Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center is a member of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s statewide network of workforce centers, which provide a variety of no-cost services to job seekers and businesses. Arapahoe/Douglas Works! serves as a critical resource to connect employees and businesses in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, and throughout the Denver/Aurora metropolitan region. - Arapahoe County Libraries
Arapahoe County businesses and entrepreneurs can access the Arapahoe County Libraries for industry or market research, business planning, and job search needs through the resident business librarians or Small Business Reference Center. - Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center
Small business owners in Denver South can benefit from valuable information designed to help start and expand their businesses. The Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers comprehensive education and training programs presented by local business leaders from many professional disciplines. By leveraging the resources of professionals in the community, the SBDC provides a wide range of workshops, conferences, seminars, and courses conducted at a number of locations throughout the county and region. Topics include Business Start-Up Basics, Business Plan Basics, and Cash-Flow Techniques, among others. - Douglas County Libraries
Douglas County businesses and entrepreneurs can access a variety of business tools at their fingertips through Douglas County Libraries. Conduct market research through their online database, visit with a business librarian for industry trends, sample business plans, or other information to meet your specific needs.
- Access Venture Services – Access Venture Services invests at the validation and growth stages of a company’s evolution (seed & series A), as an early institutional investor, and keep significant reserves for further follow-on investment support.
- B:Side Fund – B:Side is a Certified Development Company that seeks to foster the economic growth of diverse small businesses by ensuring every entrepreneur has access to responsible capital.
- Colorado Advanced Industry Grants –The Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention Grant helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses develop and commercialize advanced technologies that will be created or manufactured in Colorado.
- Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) – The CEF assists small business owners in accessing affordable loans and lines of credit with flexible rates and terms.
- Denver Angels – Denver Angels is creating an ecosystem where individual investors can invest in the fastest-growing companies in the state, and Colorado companies can receive local capital.

- Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Programs – SBA offers a variety of loan programs for specific purposes. Review the programs to determine if your business meets the participation qualifications.

- Social and Advisory Group for Entrepreneurs (SAGE) – Social and Advisory Group for Entrepreneurs is a program specifically designed to provide early stage startups with advisory and mentoring assistance as they prepare themselves to become a sustainable business.
- True Space – TrueSpace is a professional learning community for Founders and their leadership teams. True Space teaches a new model of business building to change how entrepreneurs use their time, invest capital and lead talent.
- Arapahoe Community College Sturm Campus – ACC Sturm Collaboration Campus at Castle Rock was designed to allow you to earn an associate degree from Arapahoe Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University all in one convenient location.
- Arapahoe/Douglas Works! – Arapahoe/Douglas Works! provides no-cost services to job seekers & businesses, as a resource to connect talent and industry throughout metro Denver.
- Careerwise –CareerWise Colorado’s mission is to create opportunities for youth and businesses across Colorado by developing and supporting an innovative, sustainable youth apprenticeship program.
- Cherry Creek Innovation Campus – The CCIC is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek Schools. With curriculum rooted in real-world skills and trade certifications ranging from the computer sciences to aviation to health sciences, this facility offers students a new kind of bridge to college and viable, successful careers.
