DENVER SOUTH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP WELCOMES THE NEW VP OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

September 19, 2019, Englewood, CO – Denver South Economic Development Partnership (EDP) is proud to announce and welcome Christine Shapard as VP of Economic Development. Christine will be responsible for working with an all-star team focused on business growth and retention in the Denver South Region while continuing the organization’s focus on improving and highlighting the Region’s economy and high-quality of life.
Christine joins the Denver South EDP team with over 20 years of experience in Colorado’s economic development, public sector and business communities. Christine brings with her a wealth of knowledge regarding Colorado’s business climate, industry sectors, government programs and the people responsible for them. She recently led the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association as the founding executive director, helping to grow the industry with policy, innovation and partnering initiatives while managing the organization’s operations and staff.  Previous stints included leadership positions in the Colorado BioScience Association and serving Colorado Governor Bill Owens in the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
