Tony’s Market started in Denver South, so it seems fitting they’re still thriving in the region nearly 40 years later! It all began when Tony Rosacci saw an empty 7-11 store while driving down Dry Creek near Holly Street in 1978 and BAM…that was it, that was the place it started! Four stores and forty years later of family owned, not franchise, stores Tony’s continues to be a neighborhood butcher and fixture. Their corporate office and centralized catering team call Denver South home, too, a few miles to the east.
When the first store was opened, Tony may not have known Denver was going to go boom into one of the top metropolitan areas in the country. But boom it did and it turns out the growth, opportunity and pace of Denver South is exactly what Tony’s needed to reinvent itself a couple of times over the years. Through it all, they’ve stayed local, intimate, accessible and responsive.
The team at Tony’s knows Denver South has become a hub of new businesses, entrepreneurs, young professionals, corporations and organizations helping to propel it as a destination for both work and play. They love the fact that thier stores and corporate headquarters back up to countless companies of all sizes and industries, many of whom they have relationships with. As for name dropping, they’ve worked closely with the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche for many years and continue to be completely community minded.

For those don’t know Tony’s Catering, it’s high time. Their menus are perfect for meetings, events or celebrations because there’s something for everyone. Alternatively, they hope you’ll just pop into the original Dry Creek store for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They’ve got executive chefs on staff, recipes by the barrel, dangerously delicious prepared foods, weekly specials and a staff of fellow foodies who will be happy to serve you (and likely sample something for you as well!)
Tony’s is a great place to look for catering your events and the team hopes you’ll join them at theirs including their signature, one-of-a-kind Hog Roast at their Dry Creek store on July 15, 2017 from 11am – 3pm. The Denver South Region is teeming with energy, enthusiasm and possibility and Tony’s plans to feed off those delectable cultural and geographic attributes for many more years into the future.
