SUMMARY:Denver South x Sparkpark x Spin Launch
DESCRIPTION:Tricks\, Treats\, and Tech: New Technology Demonstration and Launch\nJoin Denver South and our partners for a fun\, family-friendly launch event with free swag\, candy\, and the debut of brand-new micromobility technology. The event runs from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Palazzo Verdi greenspace right outside Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. \nFrom 4:00–5:45 PM\, visit themed Halloween trick-or-treat stations\, where you can collect fall goodies and swag\, as well as get hands-on with new technology by checking in your treat bucket at each station. It’s a festive way to enjoy fall fun while trying out the very first Sparkpark technology pilot in North America—right here in Denver South.  \nSparkpark is making its U.S. debut with Spin\, which provides scooters and e-bikes to get around Denver South\, whether you’re heading from the light rail to a concert or grabbing lunch on your break. The new Sparkpark technology will help riders easily find\, park\, and ride while reducing sidewalk clutter from e-bikes and scooters. At the event\, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the system yourself and see how it enhances the Spin experience. \nAt 5:45 PM\, the celebration shifts gears with a ribbon-cutting ceremony\, featuring remarks from our community partners to officially launch the Sparkpark program. \nStop by\, enjoy the Halloween fun\, and celebrate this exciting milestone with us! \nParking:\nThere is 2-hour street parking on the street outside of the venue\, or you can park at the Arapahoe at Village Center Station parking lot and cross the pedestrian bridge\, then walk or take Spin Scooters to join us in the park for the demonstration. There will be a concert at Fiddler’s Green on October 3rd\, so please anticipate concert attendees sharing local parking. \nLight Rail:\nTo plan your trip\, the RTD Trip Planner can help you find the best route to Arapahoe at Village Center Station. From there\, enjoy a short 5-minute walk or hop on a Spin Scooter to the park for the event.

SUMMARY:February 2024 Partnership Meeting: Colorado's Advanced Technology Developments
DESCRIPTION:February 2024 Partnership Meeting\nAs we usher in a new year\, we invite you to our first Partnership Meeting of 2024\, where we will explore a subject that has the potential to greatly influence Denver South’s technological landscape: Quantum Computing. \nThe realm of Quantum Computing may seem complex and even elusive to many. Yet\, its implications are profound\, harnessing the power of atomic and subatomic principles to revolutionize computer calculations in the development of sensors\, optics\, lasers\, and more.  \nColorado is on the cusp of becoming a leading Tech Hub\, with initiatives like the CHIPS Refundable Tax Credit Program designed to maximize incentives for eligible industries at the forefront of Quantum Computing\, like semiconductor and advanced manufacturing. DESCRIPTION:October Partnership Meeting – Twenty Years Out: Update to the South I-25 Corridor Study\nAnyone who drives through Denver South can appreciate how the region has changed since 2016.  We’ve added additional transit infrastructure\, experienced an increase of mixed-use development\, and have enjoyed a whopping 14% job growth.  Oh\, and we’ve weathered a pandemic. \nThe South I-25 Corridor Study was originally completed in 2016 and was designed to evaluate employment\, real estate\, housing\, and transportation trends. We’re working on an update to the study to analyze current economic and transportation conditions while forecasting growth in the Denver South region. \nJoin us as we dive into the data with our partners at Economic Planning Systems and Felsburg\, Holt\, and Ullevig to appreciate how far we’ve come and what is on the horizon in the next 20 years. \n  \n\n\n\n
